Exit 10 Band
Washington DC-based band Exit 10 is the brainchild of renowned writer, vocalist, and saxophonist Ted Onulak.
Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Marcus Esposito, Arch Alcantara, Scott McKnight and Jimi Jones, this hip ensemble performs Mr. Onulak’s original compositions and also interprets cool American standards like music the Rat Pack would have performed. Exit 10 takes an avant-garde musical approach, breathing new life into tunes such as the electric music of Miles Davis in the late ’60s and ’70s – Bitch’s Brew, Big Fun and Live at the Fillmore.
The newly released Exit 10 CD, Demimonde builds on the international success of their debut album, Blues Noir. Weaving together the collective influences of the band with Onulak’s eclectic compositions, Demimonde features poetic lyrics, tight ensemble playing and scorching hot instrumental work. Strong blues and R&B roots are evident in this recording as are Latin, psychedelic and hard rock influences. View cover art >
